Contact with various institutions such as the Folger Shakespeare Institution have turned up even more leads, including contacts in the Congressional Library and U-Penn (here in Pittsburgh).  It is much easier to contact someone specific than the Institution in general and I must give an incredibly heart-felt thank you to Georgianna Ziegler, Head of Reference of the Folger Shakespeare Institution, a most admirable organization who collects original documents from 1500 on and makes them as available to the public as possible.  Another thank you to Gerry Embleton, Author of "The Medieval Soldier" for clearing up yet another question of mine.  His patience and sympathy to our rather difficult road is greatly appreciated.

3-Aug 2005: Information collection is being further disseminated in an effort to give comprehensive information about the life and times of Kassel citizens.  No end in sight, but a good dent has been made in the collection.

1-Aug 2005: The Terms page has been updated to display more period correct terms, rather than modern German inflections.

Past: A page on Peasants clothing has been added to instruct those interested in that venue during our "Peasants Revolt" events.
